A rich and indulgent chocolate cake with a gooey, molten centre. Perfect for a special occasion or as a sweet treat.
Ingredients
- 115 g Dark chocolate
- 115 g Butter
- 2 Egg
- 50 g Sugar
- 30 g All-purpose flour
- Vanilla ice cream
- Whipped cream
Preparation Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (200°C fan) or 425°F.
- Grease and flour 4 ramekins.
- Melt the chocolate and butter in a bowl over a double boiler.
- Whisk together eggs, sugar, and flour until smooth.
- Fold in the melted chocolate mixture.
- Pour the batter into the prepared ramekins and bake for 12-14 minutes.
- Let the cakes sit for 1-2 minutes before inverting them onto plates.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
